FR Graphite is a high specification mastic designed to prevent the spread of fire, smoke and gases through openings in fire rated walls and floors. FR Acrylic is a fire rated sealant designed to prevent the spread of fire and smoke through joints and openings in fire rated walls and floors, including openings formed around building service penetrations. FR Acrylic will also maintain the acoustic design performance, with a working life of up to 30 years. When subjected to atmospheric conditions, the fire rated sealant cures but it will retain a degree of elasticity for joint movement. Under fire exposure, FR Acrylic creates a robust fire seal by the formation of a durable intumescent char. FR Acrylic can be used with a suitable filling material in order to secure the correct width to depth ratio and to reduce the shrinking of the sealant during curing. Thermal activation takes place at approximately 180 degrees when the material with expand and prevent the passage of fire and smoke for periods up to and beyond 4 hours.

FR Adhesive contains a water-based inorganic polymer and filler and is designed to withstand temperatures greater than 1200 °C. It is supplied as a ready-to-use thixotropic paste which exhibits excellent early grab and rapid bond strength. The product forms a cement after curing with a permanent bond which gives excellent adhesion in service. It can be used as an adhesive and as a filler with multiple usages where bonding or sealing very hot surfaces is required, sustaining a seal or a bond in a fire situation without detachment.

The ablative property of the coating resists flame spread and protects the mineral fibres against fire penetration by significantly reducing the permeability of the mineral fibre core and prevents the passage of hot gases. This reduces the temperature rise on the unexposed side and reducing heat conduction through the building services. Mineral fibres coated with FR Coating are designed to prevent the spread of fire and smoke through opening in fire rated walls and floors and where openings are formed to allow the installation of multiple building services. The Eco-Foil product system is a cost effective and efficient solution designed to reduce environmental impact and waste on construction sites. The product system works by inserting a 300ml foil into the reusable Eco-Cartridge which fits into a standard skeleton gun. The Eco-Cartridge has a double-ended plunger, so once the foil is empty, remove the cap and nozzle and re-fill the opposite end with a new 300ml foil. Simply replace the cap and nozzle at the opposite end, insert it into the foil gun and the system is ready to use!

FR Board is available with top coating on one or two sides, selected on the basis of installation considerations and fire resistance. On site, FR Board must be used together with FR Acrylic for sealing around building services and the surrounding construction.

The aperture surrounding the dampers are fire sealed with Protecta fire stopping products. FR Damper can be installed in the fire seal and the ventilation ducting attached, or the damper can be connected to the ducting and then fire sealed. The aperture where the ducts pass through can include one or multiple ventilation ducts.
